Customer Review

I read this immediately on finishing To Kill A Mocking Bird and there was a slight deviance in the writing style. It was as though time between these books had given the author a sophistication that was not there earlier. Sentences were constructed with more detail and the words used just a tad 'uppity'. Unlike some reviews I found the continual references to the past interfered with my wanting to move forward with Soap the adult and occasionally I was tempted to skip these nostalgia pieces that for me were just fillers. I am particularly pleased that Atticus survived to the end as he was still one of my favourite characters. Don't get me wrong it is still a great read just not TKAM. Peter Eerden
