Reviewed on behalf of 3 Degrees of Fiction book blog.
I am scratching my brain trying to come up with a review that will do this book just an ounce of justice. It is simply put the best book I have read this year.
Pierced Hearts is a big book on emotions and is also lengthy in content. But at no stage whilst I was reading this book did I ever think that the author was repeating herself or just adding filler to make the story as long as it is. Pierce & Darby's story had to be told exactly the way Ahren wrote it. I needed to feel the hurt and devastation that they both went through and was still living within them every day. I needed to hate Connie as much as any fictional character I have hated before. And then I had to fall in love with not only Pierce & Darby, but all the minor characters that make this story as outstanding as what it is.
I really do hope that my review makes the person reading my opinion want to pick up this book. You won't be disappointed
