A sweet romance with an important message that I hope hits home with any readers who need to hear it. A little criticism for some poor English grammar and bigger criticism for poor French. In this day and age, there must have been an opportunity for the French to have been checked by a native speaker. It seems like the French has been obtained by putting the English into Google translate ! I don’t speak Italian so I can’t comment on the Italian. Likeable characters, realistic storyline.
This book is set in not one but two beautiful locations, Sicily and the Isle of Skye. Mitch and Ruby are engaging characters and I also loved the mystery as well as the romance element of this story. This book totally enthralled me and I loved the music references and the Scottish country dancing at the ceilidh and also Greg making an appearance. Number one destination for sure. I loved this book ❤️
Wow not only a great story set in beautiful locations it has a story that needs to be told. Bullying of any type is wrong and this show what it can do to a person. Love this story of how Mitch is such a caring man and Ruby the actress who is as down to earth as us normally people. Definitely a great read x
A believable yet magical tale of true love in all its forms and how it crushes evil. I enjoyed contrasting locations in New York, Italy and Skye. Lovely to revisit Glentorrin and read about the wonderful characters from Lisa Hobman’s earlier book Dreaming under an Island Skye.
I really enjoyed this page turner. It has been well researched and addresses a very modern day problem of trolling, cyber crime and online bullying. I loved the locations in the book... the characters become like friends.
A very clever look into cyber bullying and the effect social media etc can have on everyone, at any time. A lovely easy read with fantastic places, characters and events throughout. Thoroughly enjoyable.
The story fully engrossed me and I was loathe to put it down. I feel as though I have visited Sicily and the Isle of Skye! The storyline also gave a strong insight into the problems of cyberbullying and the dangers of the internet. It also showed being in the public eye is not always honey and roses.
