I loved this story about Corvak and Sienna. It added a further dimension to the continuing stories of the Vandar. It was good to watch Corvak begin to look beyond just fighting and realise that genuine strong emotion doesn't weaken you. I also really enjoyed Sienna's journey and the strength she had to find. Loving these stories about the Vandar, Tana creates an entertaining and complex universe that keeps you wanting more.
At the end of the last book Corvak was banished to an alien planet. Here he is asked to train warriors as war threatens. The only being that shows any talent for fighting is a female who feels she cannot find her place. Sienna is tossed out of the training but manages to convince Corvak to secretly meet her and hone her fighting skills. Fighting is not all she learns!
The characters, plot and writing were well done and kept me engaged. I enjoyed that the ending pans out different to the way that would have been expected. The epilogue, which again is the start of the next book, has me chaffing for it's release.
There is always something going on with one of Tanner stones stories, she is truly an enchantress who weaves a spell to draw her audience in. As with the previous books in this series, this story didn’t fail to bring you into the excitement of the story. I fell in love with the characters Raas Corvak and Sienna, I thoroughly enjoyed the drama and the excitement of the things that they had to endure to reach the point where they could no longer keep their hands off each other and eventually fell in love with each other and lived happily ever after. But we know that but it’s not the end of the story and we will have to keep reading what happens with Juliette and Raas Vassim.
I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and review with my honest and fair opinion
Well damn, after getting himself banished from his horde, Corvak is about to find out why all the Raas of the Vandar are falling for their human females. Another action packed instalment of the Vandar Warlords series, in which the Dothvek Warriors and their females make an appearance.
Anyone who likes the excitement and escapism of alien romance will love this alien fated mate series by Tana Stone. The exiled Vandor warrior and fiery human female are each other's perfect match and combining this story with some of the characters from another of her alien mates series makes it even more enjoyable. Looking forward to the next instalment. A must read.
