Great story, with nice twists and turns. Interaction with Winchesters was nice. Of course, I now can't wait for the next one. Stormy and Hunter bring out the romantic side in us. Love, love Amanda M Lee, a legend for always delivering a great read.
This is only the second book in this series but I am hooked. I love these characters. Stormy's family is a really great family. We met her Grandfather in the first book and I fell in love. We get to meet her Grandmother a lot more in this book and she is just as great as her Grandfather. I laughed so hard at their fight over clothes. Sebastian is a wonderful friend to Stormy and Hunter. And Stormy and Hunter are fabulous together. This is another wonderful series by this author. She never disappoints.
Book 2 gave me so much more and brought this series into its own even with crossing over with Hemlock Cove that just felt so natural and seamless like the two series had always been linked. Stormy I’d slowly figuring stuff out both magically and personally, Hunter is hilarious with is time frames and Sebastian is a great addition to this wonderful new series oh and I seriously love the grandparents it’s turning into a new favorite for me and knowing the ties to Hemlock cove make it even better.
This is a relatively new series from Amanda M Lee and it does not disappoint. Stormy is learning what it means to be a witch - and she has good friends around her to help figure it out. And I love love love that she lives close to the Winchesters and we get to see some of my favorites! I enjoy seeing Stormy find her footing back in her hometown and with Hunter. I really like that she and Hunter have the connection from when they were younger and can build on that. I look forward to them growing closer and Stormy growing stronger and more confident - and the pending friendship with Bay and Landon and their family. Love this new series!
It's as if Ms Lee has taken every lesson she's learned of what to do and what not to do in a new series and used it to craft this book. So many things I expected because of similar situations i n other series happened the opposite or just very different and every time it happened it made the book more engrossing. I love Stormy, I enjoy how her and Hunter's reunion, and Grandpa and Sebastian are perfect supporting characters. Best was in our lunch room at work, there was a coworker who while a good guy natters on incessantly and has diminished every lunch I have ever eaten there with his inability to read a room and shut up. Today I started reading while eating and he was rattling on about nothing and when I finished eating and shut down the Kindle app to go outside to smoke, I realized Brett had at some point stopped talking and left the room. This book is so good even boring chatterboxes become as if nothing!
I enjoyed the last half of the book very much, when it was more focused on the mystery, meeting the Winchesters, and coming to terms with brand new witchy powers. The first half of the book was honestly, just too young for me. I am over 60 and "she stole my boyfriend" is not entertaining to me. But I am old, younger readers can probably relate better than I did.
