They think they know everything about each other, and they do. For the most part, but when you haven't spent a lot of time together as you did when you were kids. Well things can probably get a little messy right?
Maddox and Kinsley were best friends since age 5 and when a job opportunity strikes she's afraid she'll have to turn it down, but Maddox opens his home to her and in doing so turns his life upside down.
So far I have really enjoyed this series. These bad boys of baseball are always entertaining. Unfortunately this book doesn't top a favourite for me in this series. Ever get that feeling that you don't know exactly what to say about something because not everyone meshes with every book in a series they like. Well that's me right now.
Don't go thinking that I hated this book, cause I didn't.
There were parts I liked, swooned over, laughed at and almost, almost cried for. But the truth is, I didn't overly vibe with these characters. But that's okay, I'm not gonna hang my hat and be done with this series, because there looks like there is plenty more to come.
