New Series Alert #Amazing.

The Hunter by L.J. Shen is the first book in a brand new series called the Boston Belles. This book is told in Dual POVs by Hunter and Sailor.
I haven’t read a L.J. Shen book in a minute and when this book was announced followed by the blurb and the cover I was absolutely sold. I was like we are in for one heck of a book.
From the moment I started this book it grabbed onto me like a bear hug, I was so consumed in the story that was developing because come on enemies to lovers and polar opposites attract are one of my favourite troupes to read.
From reading the blurb, you sort of know what you are going to expect but once you start reading this book you soon realise that everything you thought you would come to expect, gets thrown out the window.
This book had me highlighting so many quotes in this book because I was living for these characters. I felt like a highlighter junkie.
It all started with a leaked sex tape, and the only person that can help him is Sailor Brennan. Without her help he looses everything and I mean EVERYTHING!.
Hunter and Sailors book is a slow burn as these two are complete opposites and due to the nature of them being put on each other’s path. It couldn’t have been done any other way.
Once these two meet, it was fun, they had their fiery banter, sprouted out smart ass remarks and used sexual innuendo like it was a first language. All this has me cracking up in laughter.
As the story develops, feelings get caught and you can just see how perfect they were for each other, they balanced each other out so perfectly. Sometimes the greatest relationships are the ones that you never expect or never expect to find in someone who is complete opposite to you. They can turn out to be the best things to ever happen to you.
“He is the Hunter”.
“ I am the Prey”.
The hunter had everything that I look for in a book, it has your suspense, angst, family drama, drama in its self, and overall a beautiful love story of two polar opposites finding love within each other. It was sexy and funny and had the thing that I love the most. The feels. I live for the feels in books and Leigh absolutely nailed it with these two.
If your into enemies to lovers books that gives you all the feels and a good dose of laughter then this book is going to be for you.
