Cody has been spending time with Jessie, one of the housemaids at the Bear Lodge. He wants to take things further but there is something off. Jessie brushes him off, but she has a secret that she can’t tell him. If Cody finds out, she could be in trouble and it could have an effect on him.
Jessie is the mother of six cubs that she has rescued from an abusive sleuth. If she is caught, she could be put to death, she can’t let these cubs be taken back, she has to protect them with her life. But Cody has discovered her secrets and she can no longer deny her feelings for him. Cody is her mate and even with the danger to themselves, they will do anything to protect their cubs.
There is a lot of action and the Strauss brothers once again stick together and face their enemies.
I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and review with my honest and fair opinion.
This is the third book in this series and this time we get Cody Strauss the billionaire bears story He works as a chef at the Black Bear Lodge that he and his brothers own.
Cody is deeply attracted to Jessie one of the maids at their lodge in fact he wonders if she could be his ate the attraction is so strong but she won't go out with him in fact she is keeping a secret She found 6 abused and chained bear cubs and she Rescued/stole them and is raising them as her own and she doesn't want anyone to know that she has them. What she didn't expect was that Cody when he meets them would love them just as much as her and when the sleuth who she stole them from close in ion her he will have to step up and keep his potential new family safe.
I was given a copy of this book but this is a true and honest review
Are books no longer proof read or edited. Errors galore from car being stated as Carolla (Corolla) and then not roughly 5 pages later was a Camry. Least they’re same make. These constant errors make reading less enjoyable. Good story line with character depth.
