Witching For Grace: A Paranormal Women's Fiction Novel (Premonition Pointe Book 1) by Deanna Chase is a Paranormal story that is fun and crazy and all it needs is one pair of shoes. Has been written by one of 13 Fabulous authors who decided to take the literary world by storm and show them that stories can be written about women who are 40 and be just as good if not better than books written for younger women. Deanna has written a wonderfully crazy magical story where Grace finds herself traded in for a younger woman and going head to head in the world of real estate. She must find a way to sell the unsellable and make a new name for herself but she must also decide if she has room for love. I loved the situations that Grace and her friends found themselves and laughed from start to finish. Never underestimate the power of besties and witches. NOW I just have to wait for the next one and I hate waiting…….
Grace is newly divorced and in need of a job. The real estate office is one she used to compete against, and to prove herself and land a permanent job, she needs to sell three unsaleable houses. Haunted houses.
Grace accepts the challenge, and while doing so, gets assistance in the form of a co-worker at the office. A much younger man, who has his sights set on her, and who makes her heart race.
This book has a Keating Hollow/friendly small town vibe to it, but with its own twist. There were some funny moments, and the main characters were all loveable. Solid start to the series and I look forward to reading book 2.
Absolutely everything from the stunning cover, to the final word was just magical. Grace Valentine, such a cool name and such a seriously beautiful woman, along with her besties Joy and Hope, her niece Lex and even her sister Alyssa they all made one kick-ass story come to life, in the quaint town of Premonition Point. I loved that this story made me laugh, cry, get angry and seriously wonder about the male species...lol it also made me snicker a few times at Grace’s ability to curse people...lol Now I’m counting down to HopeS story that’s how much this new series grabbed me.
A very enjoyable and easy read. Editing is good, nothing obviously out of whack, characters believable and I would think based on true characters and personal experience (doesn't say much for a lot of us males, but then again I don't mind sharing the cleaning/bathroom duties). Will look for more from this author, I like her slant on being a witch particularly her random hexes, LOL, thank you DC.
Well written, engaging storyline. Grace is an interesting character, her story was more than I expected, and I really enjoyed the relationships she had with her family, her coven, and also her potential love interests. I look forward to returning to Premonition Pointe in the future.
