Wait.. I waited all this time, for this?!

What a let down. I have been following the series with love and excitement but feel completely let down with the final book. I was excited for evolution of Nora’s character it this one, but she becomes more weepy (like, literally every other moment she is crying over something) with every passing chapter. Rather than embrace the “two steps forward, one step back” MC development you would hope she would take (and was leaning towards in the previous books); her mental and emotional strength as a character in this book is almost like taking several steps back: to the point where you even miss the Nora you are first introduction in book 1. So disappointing!
Don’t even get me started on the storyline and the lack of intimacy detail with her men - I almost threw my phone across the room when I realised that after THREE BOOKS of buildup and slow burn: the authors decided to make each moment with them about as exciting and sensual as a G rated (and maximum of 30 second) short film.
I don’t think I have been this dissatisfied with the conclusion of a book series in a very, very long time.
