It was definitely better than the first book in the series, and that one wasn’t bad. This one was more intense and had a backstory. I liked how the heroine wasn’t going to forgive the hero for what appeared to be a huge betrayal in their past - until it was explained. I was a little annoyed by her repeated references to her ex, but other than that, she was a good character. I was surprised there was no references at all to the hero’s previous ‘partners’. He obviously wasn’t a virgin anymore and it wasn’t shared when and how that changed. But then again, who wants to read about the hero being a horn dog (if that’s what happened). The whole induced list from werewolf blood is a bit weird, but okay. Looking forward to more in this series.
