This book is so good it completely captured me but it is the same with every book I read by KF. She is the consummate storyteller that knows no bounds when she has a story to share. She is a true magician when she weaves her threads to pull them together to write her masterpieces. I jumped on this amazing train ride and I have enjoyed every single heart pounding minute along the way. It is an intense story of magic and Demigods and magical creatures of all kinds. It is full of action and danger, drama and suspense and it is full of fun that has me laughing out loud, even in some of the most explosive situations. The story is told from multiple points of view, so we get a great perspective of their motivations, and thought processes. KF certainly moved the goal line with this book and it was definitely much more emotive than the others and had me crying like a babe. Her clever plotting and intricate multi layering of not only the vivid world she has created but also of the wonderful characters she brings to life. They must be read in order as each one carries on from the last.
It is a definite MUST READ, and a MUST on everybody’s TBR list!
This book in this series was truly magnificent k f Breene truly out did her self I can’t wait for the next instalment thank you so much for your amazing stories and people do your self a favour and start reading!!!
This series needs to be read in order to fully appreciate the storyline, character growth and relationship development that occurs across the series so far. Sin & Spirit has Alexis facing challenges with regards to her magic, and she has moments of self doubt regarding her capabilities and her place by Kieran's side.
I've really enjoyed reading this series so far. I love Alexis and Kieran, and all the secondary characters ( Kieran's 6, Bria ), but once again my favourite character is Daisy, with Mordecai following closely behind. Daisy has so much snark, she's tough and determined. Plus she's like a crazy little ninja that loves to use her training to spring surprise attacks on the unsuspecting ( poor Mordecai ).
I'm looking forward to Sin & Lightning, especially after some of the events that occurred towards the end of Sin & Spirit - can't wait to see where the storyline goes from here.
The Demigods are after her, and will stop at nothing to get her under their control ~ something Kieran won't let happen while he's still breathing! But it's more complicated then kill and ask questions later like he would like to do ~ he has to think of the bigger picture and long term, he'll need proof/evidence, but can they keep everyone alive long enough to find what they need? It's action packed, laugh out loud funny and a tear jerker!
Oh Queen Breene, your writing always sucks me in like an addict and gut punches me in the feels. I utterly adore this world that you bring us into. The semi loss of an important character, ouch, my heart bled. I'm really enjoying "Reds" interactions with the crew and the Spirit Walker guide, do we like him or hate him, is he good, bad or only out for himself; time shall tell. Until we meet again in July
It’s 1:35am here and I’ve just finished this amazing instalment of this series.
I am LOVING this universe.
And this book? It’s everything you want in a story, strong heroine, tick, sexy hero, tick, suspense, tick, thrills, tick, family ties, loss, triumph; tick, tick, tick! But MOST importantly character growth. TICK! Breene is nailing it, again.
