Great boxed set with a wide variety of romances. I did not read everything as some sub-genres do not appeal to me; however, I have now found new authors I would not have otherwise added to my reading list.
My favourite was Susanne Bellamy’s “Sunny With a Chance of Romance” featuring a strong-willed journalist, and a kite-surfing hotel owner. The characters were engaging and full of personality. I particularly enjoy that time has been taken to add personality into the secondary characters - Bellamy is very particular in creating a vivid 3D picture of her world. This story was well researched and included many small details to evoke a sense of realism.
I also enjoyed Annie Seaton’s novella, “Christmas With the Boss”. This novella does include some supernatural elements, which I was not so keen on, though Seaton’s writing is very descriptive. I felt as if I was at the beach in the creepy old house too! I feel like this novella would have worked really well as a full length novel.
What a nice book to read, it has a mix of Aussie and non Aussie authors. All the books are related to Christmas Romances and if you are a lover of romance and Christmas then this is the book for you. Each story is not overly long but gets straight to the point of the story, It was a pleasure to read and I would certainly recommend it for a light read
