I usually wear navy as my dark color. My personal shopper sent this to me with some things I sent back. This is a nice shirt. One can dress it up or down. The fabric is wrinkle resistant. I also like that it is polka dot. Polka dots come and go n popularity and I am glad to see it. It has interesting buttons. It gets me away from navy blue.
This Lark & Ro top is beautifully sewn. The shoulder gathers are particularly sharp. (I’m not much of a seamstress but that has to be a tricky bit.) I love the shape on me, except possibly for ¾ length sleeves, which are more like bracelet on my arms. (I normally take about 1.25 inches on a sleeve if it’s an easy alteration, but I’m not up to dealing with the details of a button cuff.)
The photo on my monitor from this page suggests a tan-ish orange color, but in person it’s a decided mustard with I think a very slight olive undertone. Not my fave but will pair very well with navy pieces! The sizing is fairly fitted but will still drape beautifully over anything that isn’t to thick with gathers or whatever.
I appreciate well-made above other considerations with clothes. My only complaint here would be that there is a pretty big 3 button placket in the back and I would really only need one button to get my big head out of the shirt! (The other two buttons are invisibly folded into the placket but it’s still somewhat noticeable.)
The color is a little brighter, not as Chi Tea as the image shows. The material wrinkles easily and needs to be hung up right after being removed from the dryer, else ironed. The sleeves hems were a little looser then I would have preferred, but I think matches the look of the model, they just felt awkward as they would rise up my arm, get stuck, and then fall back down. The puff sleeve is adorable and I particularly like the large buttons on the back. The top was true to size and fit very nice and is flattering. Overall, I really like the shirt, but need to get used to the end of the sleeves. I did receive compliments the first time I wore it also!

I wanted to try this Lark & Ro Women's 3/4 Puff Sleeve Crew Neck Top because of the color. It is like a burnt yellow dijon mustard-ish without the brown flecks. It is just an interesting color that caught my eye and it looks exactly like the picture. The fit is as expected and is comfortable. It is just a tad short on my shoulders but I expected that because I have wider than general shoulders and with the slight puff in the sleeves, it isn't noticeable. The neckline is modest. The 3/4 length on the sleeve is great for me. Length of blouse works well for me. I can leave loose or tuck in. It washes well and dries quickly as a hang dry. Overall, this is a nice blouse.
This is an awesome deep gold color. The fabric is fully opaque, and has some give to it. Very comfortable. It drapes very nicely. The construction is well-done, with no flaws or surprises. The only thing my wife would change is that the shoulders are set in a little close. That's a style right now, but she doesn't care for it, and it's less comfortable and flattering that way. The pouf shoulders are cute, though. Works great with a skirt, slacks or jeans and sandals. Elegant and classic.
This is short and boxy and mostly very cute, but like many shirts it's not tailored for larger busts. There are darts, but they don't do enough. Looking at myself from the side, this tents out. It goes over my bust and then the fabric hangs out there, which makes me feel fat. It's just not as flattering as it could be. I'm a 32D and I got a size 6. I think an 8 would have overwhelmed my small-ish frame.
I'm not a big fan of the mustard golden color, but it doesn't look bad with my complexion. Given the choice I wouldn't choose polyester as my first choice. I like cotton with some spandex for a little give. Having said all that--this is a nice modern cute top. It has 3/4 sleeves and can be dressed up or down. It's sewn well too. Recommended.
