Like others, I bought this for expresso thinking it would be a tasty roast with some flavour. I found this to have not much flavour, with a slight charred hint. To compare, I would rate this below the Grinders crema that is also available from Amazon and below the Vittoria expresso coffee beans you can buy from the supermarket. It's not bad coffee, but nor is it something I'd deliberately go out and buy when better choices are available.
I've used these beans for both cold brew and espresso. I have had solid results with both brewing methods. I don't think I can really complain for the price, the coffee isnt bitter or sour. It isn't very strong, I would say it has a milder flavor. Would I buy it again? I don't think so.
