Very much enjoyed this audio book (the only comment I'd make is that the narrator uses some strange word emphasis and inflection which I found a little annoying and distracting but she has a nice voice and reads well otherwise). The story is a lovely feel good story set on the French Riviera - a kind of modern "Enchanted April" which is another favourite of mine and is mentioned as a bit of a theme in this book. I'm looking forward to reading more stories from this author.
A little slow to begin with but am enjoying the story of 3 different women coming together after winning a competition. The friendship and companionship of these three are both interesting and enjoyable. Meeting Amy too has formed friendship that will last a long time. I also was able to visualize many of the places they visited like Cannes and Monaco. Nice read thanks.
A Riviera Retreat was an easy feel good read. Great characters and location and setting to die for. Story just flowed and I had to keep on reading just to make sure everything turned out the way it should.
I had nothing to dislike about this book, thoroughly enjoyed it, it was predictable, but so enjoyable. I like to read a book like this after reading something that is intense, and this one worked for me.
