This story has everything I enjoy in a paranormal story. From its incredible world building, a storyline that interconnects with other characters lives. They're all intertwined in some way. And Devon's growth as a alpha, Chelsea's heritage discovery, the political alliances and silent nuances that conveyed so much. Humour, love, loss, power players and war that sounds like will be epic, i can't wait to read the next book in this series.
I adore KF Breene and this book is part of the greater DDVN (Demon Days Vampire Nights) world, which is my absolute favourite. It lives up to the huge expectation set by the others. It’s fun and funny, the characters leap from the pages and the storyline still manages to surprise. The female characters and their relationship with others are not typical or archetypal, but seem real. They hold their own amongst the group and I like that most battles are fought as a team, with everyone - male and female - contributing as an important member. I enjoyed the continued flow of the greater DDVN story throughout the book, but it still stands as it’s own series about Charity. It was fun picking up all the references to other events and characters. And, God, it’s always good to see Reagan. Can’t wait for more. Love your work, KF!
What a wth book, i loved it. You really know how to suck me im K.F Breene. What an emotional ride, i dont know what to do now. I can not wait for the next one...... i need to know the rest of this story.
KF Breene has done it again with another kick a*se story with a heroine who takes no prisoners and kicks a*se. I love the action and adventure, sarcastic banter/humor, sexy and witty characters. It is good to see some of the gang back together. The ladies of the DDVN world are absolutely brilliantly snarky, sassy and loyal. With magic and shifters, Fae and many others what could be better?
I can't get enough of this addictive series, KF has the ability to transport you to another world where you can completely lose yourself and I know you will too.
