A beautifully told story of young love. The two MCs are adorable. Both teenagers discovering their sexuality and exploring it with each other. Both young, both scared. It is the fear and panic that sends one running, leaving behind a broken hearted lover. It takes 15 years for Jason to step up and ask for forgiveness and hope that he is given a second chances.
So much passion in this book, at one stage I had to stop reading as my tears fell as I couldn’t see the pages. Such a beautiful storyline Angelique certainly knows how to masterfully draws out raw emotion and so much intensity in this story, mixed with the complexity of the characters was enough to make me hungry for more!
I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book for my honest opinions of which I’m under no obligation to do so. I definitely recommend this book.
A story set in two time zones for these two guys. The past and present spanning 15 years. Dwell pov's told, includes death of a 2nd character which was sad. An okay story, I didn't connect with them but enjoyed the book.
Past: Shaun 19 he attends an end of school party and ends up to be the focus of everyone attention. Not in a good way. Jason was his secret crush. (KU)
I really enjoyed this story. Loveable characters. Its unusual that I don’t hold a grudge against a character in a second chance story but in this case I loved both characters and they deserved their HEA. Would have loved it to be a little longer (but then I hate waffle, so that probably isn’t fair). A sweet second chance romance
