another excellent read

What I like about this book, the humor, it had me laughing out loud, they mystery, the suspense, the action and treachery and most of all the characters. Each character had a special part to play including young Miles and they were written to perfection. I enjoyed the fact that there wasn’t a lot of filler with the story all about the relationship between each of the characters. There was some sex but this reviewer as usual skipped it and it didn’t affect my enjoyment of the book. This book can be read as a stand alone but half way through I had to go and buy the cousins mothers stories (Maids with Blades) as the references had me intrigued.
The thing I didn’t like about the book, was I now have to wait for the next one as there was a hidden mystery that needs to be answered.
I received this book as an ARC and give my honest review.
