Lovers of horses and the racing scene will lap up this emotionally touching story. With secrets to keep and fences to mend, Blake Hudson has his work cut out for him to win Hannah's heart. A beautiful tale of love, forgiveness, hope and trust.
Don’t bother to read this book. There is no drama, no nasty villains, the romance between Hannah and Blake is subdued with no steamy sex and overall nothing much happens. The main story thread is about racehorse training and even then none of Hannah’s horses win a race. There are jumps in the narrative, for example, Hannah’s sister upon learning that Blake was involved in a financial betrayal that had impoverished her family, rushes out to confront him. Then nothing. A few pages later she is happily talking to him about other matters.
