As this series progress you can really appreciate the world building and research that has gone into it. From how all the different gods from different mythologies interact to the court dynamics of the fae, every part of this book and the series as a whole is carefully thought out and that's what is so captivating about the Soulbound series.
I can't believe this is already the third book of the series, I felt as if not much has happened within the books but at the same time if you actually go through the events of the books so much has happened. While the overarching story arc of the series is slowly revealing itself, we are introduced to even more characters that will help Patrick and Jono along the way. This in of itself should feel overwhelming, we have so many characters, side and main plot-lines to keep track of but it all reads very well. I was very excited to see the progression of the Jono vs New York god pack plot line progress and I can't wait till it finally comes to the boiling point. All in all, love this book and really want the next book sometime soon.
Third in a series I have just binged. I have really enjoyed this modern urban paranormal. The worldbuilding is great. Almost every paranormal entity you can think of appears in the series, but fit in very well in the author's version of modern day. Lots of tension, and seriously scary Celtic gods drive the plot. Dashes of humour brought mainly by a teenage dragon. The mm love story that anchors the main characters, Patrick an feferal agent and Jono s bartending alpha werewolf is lovely.
This series just gets better with every book. I think I am going to have to do a reread while I wait for the next in the series. The history and mythology written within these stories are amazing and very enlightening. Highly recommend
