You certainly know how to win over hearts with your Storm men ... and women. HURRICANE HEARTS was simply sublime. Never have I read an MC novel that was grippingly emotional and heartbreakingly shattering, as the story of Winter Morrison and his one true love Birdie Beaumont.
Nothing is perfect about either Winter or Birdie, except the love that they deeply have for each other. He is a broody, stubborn alpha man with the tenderst of hearts, while she is just as stubborn, feisty, sassy and determined, a woman who holds a secret that could cause irreparable damage between them.
Winter's love for Birdie has never dwindle, even after she left him under mysterious circumstances five years earlier. Now he has returned to claim his woman, Will Birdie let him in? How will winter react when he learns of her secret? As well as battling with Birdie for their love, Winter must also deal with a family tragedy - one which brings with it repercussions and truths that will have lasting effects.
Once again Nina Levine has written a story that is deep, confronting and completely unputdownable. Winter and Birdie would now have to be my favourite couple (sorry King and Lily). Theirs is a relationship that will truly test their love and understanding for one another. The constant pushing and pulling between them will break your heart. But once a heart recognises it's soulmate, there is no letting go.
Simply perfect Ms Levine. Yet again you have shown the literary world your mastery with words and your ability to play with a reader's emotions. There was grit, angst, passion, fear, frustration, anger and love. Exceptional. You are the undisputed Queen of the MC world.
I simply cannot recommend this book strongly enough.
He might be Winter by name, but he sure brings hot & raunchy heat to his & Birdie’s relationship. A must read to the start of Nina Levine’s new Storm reloaded series. Nina Levine has One of the best MC series out there, set in Australia. Great read !!!
This book was amazing! I loved it! So much love and raw emotion. Winter and Birdie went through a difficult journey and made it. I felt I was right there with them, I cried I laughed and my heart ached for them. They are just meant to be. Definitely soul mates. Great story. You've outdone yourself once again Nina Levine. Winter is my favourite alpha male.
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC and voluntarily leave my honest review!! This is one of my very favourite author's and she didn't disappoint with this one!!! I love a well written second chance romance and this one is narrated with dual POV, which is perfect so that we get to know both sides equally well. I feel for me that brings balance to the story/relationship. This one hit me in the feels so much as having fertility problems is a very real issues for a lot of women and I felt she handled it very well. It was filled to the brim with so much emotion that it felt like a roller coaster ride that I never want to get off of. This author writes such "real" characters to me, its like you know them and experience everything they do with them. The chemistry between Winter and Birdie is off the charts and you just know they are destined to be together forever. Really not much influence of the MC in this one with just a few mentions and I was actually OK with that as the main focus was on Winter and Birdie's relationship and how a person's decisions impact everyone around them. It was their journey back together. As usual and to be expected with this amazing author, the secondary character's development was fantastic and all I could think was I hope that Birdie's brothers and Max, Winter's brother, all get books of their own, especially Max as he really needs the love of a good women!!! Overall an amazing emotional tale that I found so hard to put down and get back to real life and am really, really looking forward to more in this series and even this couple!!
Amazing awesome sweet swoon worthy heartbreaking and easy to relate too are just some words to describe this awesome book by Nina Levine .... I'm so glad she has gotten another book released and by the looks of it maybe fingers crossed another to come .. Nina always sucks me into the world she creates in each of her books and I'm so greatful for the break from reality but almost heartbroken to be spat back out into the real world again and Hurricane Hearts was no exception! Amazingly written.... heartbreakingly beautiful..... I absolutely loved it !
Seeing Birdie again, he’s not letting her go a second time that quickly, she tries to leave quickly, although she ripped his heart out, she still owned it and as she’s leave he lets her know she will be his again and he’s going to enjoy the chase. Winter knew he mind was screwed when he got back from Afghanistan, he wrecked them and wanted another chance, he’s going to make it right and asks Birdie to let him in. Birdie tries to tell him no, but he won’t let her fight him on it. Finding out about Winter’s father, they need to get through this and. Birdie knows that as much as she loves Winter, she can’t have him hurting more, the past is going to catch up with them, with everything going on she knows she has to tell him why she broke up with him even if it means she loses him. Winter doesn’t know what to do with what Birdie tells him, he’s always lived by honesty and she knew it would kill him. He loved Birdie, he hadn’t thought anything could change that, he wanted a future with Birdie, but can he move past what happened.
Wow winter is officially my new fave out of all Ninas books so far. I loved every bit of this book even the sad parts. I loved that even though Winter was struggling with what Birdie did he still stayed there with her. I have a soft spot for Maxxi Max haha so glad he started sticking up for him self with his wife.
Hot Damn!!! Finally a Winter that'll have you hot and sweaty! Nina, you've done it again... Your ability to write hot, alpha men that love their women with everything in them and women who have backbones and integrity are second to none. Absolutely loved this book. The emotions were so real and raw. The pain, loss, guilt and forgiveness are things that each and every person goes through and your words didn't gloss over them. Loved, loved, loved this book! 10/10!
