Its readable but slow going with a long series of dialogues between our heroine and her hallucinations and strong emphasis on her mental health. I wondered if the author had had a breakdown or a series of bereavements to fuel her writing. The plot sped up towards the end of the book. Rather different in pace from the first book in this series and from the previous trilogy (which you have to read before starting this trilogy).
I love every one of the prior books and I liked a lot of this one....until I finalky had enough of the angst and fast forwarded skipping through the last 40%. Many will love it all but just not enough action or suspense for me and everything seemed very drawn out. Not sure I will get the next one.
