Cowboys Don't Believe in Fairy Tales Jessie Gussman
Ryder needs to be married to inherit the billions he is use to. He’s on his way to sweet water ranch where they have a few weeks before a ball is to take place and he is to choose a bride. On the way he stops for Nell who has a flat. She is dirt poor and is treated like a servant in her own home. She has two step sisters who are lazy, and a small brother who she loves and is the only reason she is still around.
Good book, Ryder has been hurt in the past, and Nell is being hurt now. Will he pick Nell or will he pick a snooty girl named Michelle? I wanted to hit Roxie for telling Nell she wasn’t basically good enough for Ryder.
My disclaimer... I was given a copy of this book for my honest review. Any book or novels I leave reviews on are not dependent on the book/novel review author’s opinion. No one influenced my voluntary review for any of the books or novels I read, they are my own opinions
If I could give more stars for this book I would. This was a really touching and moving love story, that you can not help but love.
Nell and Ryder were a match made with fairy dust. My heart went out to Nell and all the things she had to endure in her family. And even though we all know how this fairytale turns out, it doesn’t stop you for hoping that somehow, it would all work out for them. But having no idea how it would.
Ms Gussman did an amazing job with classic retelling. It was quite a refreshing change to the norm.
Part of a series but can easily be read on its own, but why would you, when this series is just so good.
I received this as an arc and I am giving my honest review voluntarily
