Sweetest Obsessions a contemporary romance box set with 25 tantalizing and sexy romance stories by some very talented authors. I have only read a couple of the stories so far but will be going back to read the rest.
Sugar and Spice by Phoebe Alexander:
Is a sweet romance story where being born with a silver spoon in your mouth is not always a good thing and being a single mom with nothing can be everything.
Whilst working undercover Cy discovers there is more going on than meets the eye and the truth about his family is brought to light. But the one thing he does find is something he never wanted but can’t let it go.
Jolie works hard to provide for her family but being a single mom can take its toll.
You will be holding your breath to see what happens but in oh so very different ways. Grab a copy, you know you want to.
An excellent collection of great stories.I am reviewing "Our Song" by Samantha Morgan. It is a great tale to read full of twists and turns as Jaxon and Kayla are forced to spend time together and gain a greater understanding of each other. I found this tale to be entertaining to read with a great storyline and strong characters. Well worth buying the collection to read many excellent tale by great authors. This is my honest opinion.
The story I’m reviewing is Heartbreaker by Kate Kisset.
Georgia is a music reporter and has been given one last chance to save her job by interviewing Boone Beckett on the release of his new album. On her way to meet Boone, Georgia has to make a quick pitstop where she encounters Harlan Beckett in possibly the most embarrassing way. Georgia has been burned by a celebrity hookup before which is why she is fighting her every urge to give in and climb the ruggedly guarded sexy cowboy that is Harlan. Harlan does not trust reporters after they torn him apart starting a rumor that has led him to hide away from everything and everyone. But when his brother, Boone convinces him that Georgia is one of the good ones, he gives in and explains the nasty rumor that has made him shy away from the limelight for good. Like a light switch that’s just been turned on Georgia stops fighting her attraction to Harlan and the pair can’t keep their hands off each other even in public. However once she is finished with her story on Boone she’s meant to return back to her life in New York leaving Harlan behind. Which is easier said then done.
Even though this was a quick to romance story, I still quite enjoyed Georgia and Harlan’s resistance and eventually giving in to their desire to each other. It was fun and flirty and their chemistry is off the charts hot. I’m excited for Boone’s story.
Duet by Emily Robertson, the story follows Dani and her brothers band mate, Nate. We get more of an insight into their relationship and the struggles Dani has with being a single Mam, the separation from Nate while he’s on tour and the relationship she has with her ex’s family. We get to catch up with the band and get a hint of the next book in the series. This was a quick read but it flows well and doesn’t feel rushed, I was sucked straight into the story and read it in one sitting. Another great read from this author
