Have had my sound peats wireless ear buds for a week now. They are not as good as expected and as reviewed. The sound is not bad compared to my other ear buds of the same price, but 1) I find that they are difficult to take out of the charging/storage case. 2) they don't play concurrently. They are both coming up as paired but sound only comes out from one earbud at a time. This happens on my mobile as well as my ipad. I have followed instructions as per the video clip on the page and the leaflet provided with in the box that the earbuds arrived in, but it still doesn’t pair together.
I purchased these specifically for voice calls, especially Teleconferences from home. These were not purchased for music. For the money.... The build quality ok and connects to my iphone each time. Voice quality really good ONLY if you use 1 of the earbuds at a time. When used together (and i own Airpods as well) it puts the voice into a weird stereo widening effect.
WHen listening with Airpods the voice is mono and clearly feels like its in the centre of your head with 2 buds in ear.
When listing with S2x oundpeats, the voice is in a simulated stereo, almost like 1 of the soundpeats is a fraction behind the other with the same audio playing. When listening with 1, voice quality is really good and clear.
These nice light ear buds look good, pair easily and fit snugly. For the price ($35-$42) they are good for listening to audio books and radio. Unfortunately the microphone call quality is quite poor. The microphone sounds tinny and I had people struggling to hear me when I talked quickly, even inside with no background noise. I also found that my ears fatigued from wearing them after 1-2 hours. I tried changing to a smaller eartip but these did not block all sound and resulted in poor audio reproduction. The sound quality is more than enough for audio books or radio, but lacking when listening to higher definiton music.
Avoid buying this if you are planning to use it for phone calls as the call sound and reception quality is not upto the mark. However if you plan to buy it for listening to music its a very good product for that specific purpose. Battery life is good around 3.5 to 3 hours.
As I prefer to use a single earbud most of time, it seems only the right one can be used individually. once it's running out of battery, it would be better if the left one can function individually as well
I liked that it is cheap and easy to use. The case cover is pretty flimsy though, so if you are not careful, it may break beyond the 90 degrees it opens. It definitely can't be used for sport because there is nothing holding it in your ear.
Had the sound peats for 3 days, went to go use them again and the left earbud went quiet and couldn’t hear the volume. By what do you expect at the price 🤷🏽♂️ Might give it another go and buy another pair
