I loved author John Meany's Save Me (Novel) and was excited to read this. I am happy to report this is another winner. Meany writes dark, intense prose and keeps the reader glued. I liked the way the story gradually built. This hits all the emotional buttons and gave me that heart-in-mouth sensation as I read which is exactly what I look for in a thriller. Call it 'suspension of disbelief' if you will but it's that moment when a story takes over you and you forget that you are reading. Great stuff!
