Wow, what inspiring characters in this story. I love to read Bridget Barton's stories, but I think that this is the best on so far. Some of the people in it are not all nice or even likeable, but most are very honourable and considerate of others. Their actions seem to be real, in that they place others before themselves: both with emotions and material offerings. It was an inspiring read, with lots of romance to balance out the bad. Loved this story. I received an arc of this book, and voluntarily review and recommend it here. Grab a drink, a snack maybe, and some quite time to relax and enjoy.
