After all the time it took for Jayne and Tripp to admit they love each other and start living together as a couple, it seems all is not well on the home front. The constant fighting with Tripp, coupled with (some) Villager discontent regarding events in the Village since Jayne's arrival, has caused her to think that maybe they are right and she's not the person best suited to be Sheriff. There is an incident with a would be vigilante group. The cop she partnered with in Maddison turns up in Whispering Pines saying Jayne ruined his life and he was going to ruin hers. The ending of Silent Secrets should leave you with a warm, fuzzy feeling. I know it did me. Happy reading. Annemarie
I love this book, it’s great and varied characters of depth all add to the mystery, fun, mayhem and murder. The romance is sweet and clean with a little trouble thrown in a delightful setting. It made my heart break, heal and rejoice.
