Love this author, as usual Tara Lain has produced another great read. Read this book on a rainy day, cuddled up keeping warm and I thoroughly enjoyed my lazy day. A nice mild romance with little angst and the usual mix of confused feelings and uncertainty from the main characters. The m/c Gabe is a genuinely nice guy raising his teenage daughter and putting his own life and dreams on hold until this is done. Working in a mediocre job to keep food on the table and keep his ex wife happy so she doesn't go for full custody of their daughter is what drives Gabe. Enter Jerry, famous rock star and another all round good guy, and the romance takes off. Not a hot and heavy romance, but more of a slow build. This is a love story more about life's choices and being the person you want to be and being with the people who really matter to you. The story moves along at a nice pace, is well edited, and kept me keen as the reader wanting to know how it all would end. Yes it was a bit predictable, but highly enjoyable like most of this Authors works are. Highly recommend to anyone who likes a good love story.
