I have no idea how the author is going to make the guys seem in any way redeemable.

I like a good paranormal reverse harem, especially in an academy setting and I’ve enjoyed my fair share of enemies-to-lovers romances. This novel delivers on the former. However, I wouldn’t call this enemies-to-lovers. This falls more into the cruelty you find in bully romance. As that is what the romantic interests are doing - bullying Rory, our main character.
This is just my pov, but after reading quite a few bully romances, this is what the book feels like to me so far. I can only hope that in the second book (which I haven’t read) Rory can actually defend herself, maybe even humiliate the guys before she somehow falls in love with the bullies.
All the characters are well written, but at this point I have no idea how the author is going to make the guys seem in any way redeemable. Frankly, I want Rory to ignore them completely.
