To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
If you're thinking about whether to buy this or not due to the price I understand. I purchased mine used from the Amazon Warehouse and besides some minor scuffs on the case it works great. I am so happy I upgraded from my Red Vanguard to this.
I own an Xbox one X. I used it three times, and the Velcro strap meant to hold the console in place came out of the plastic housing. I'm trying to find a DIY fix; for now I have to carry the case like a cooler instead of a suitcase.
I had the Gaems Vanguard for a year before I decided to upgrade to the Guardian Pro XP. It's rather sad that the company has gone out of business. But the product is superb. Featuring 1440p graphics, 60 hz, at 24 inches. It's amazing. Although it is rather heavy-I have the Xbox Series S-it is totally worth it.
Before I bought this product I read the reviews. There was the occasional "strap broken", "screen/power button doesn't work". But all of the comments on this product neglect to mention, the case is cheap plastic (not hard plastic or metal like one would assume), and for the price you would expect better craftsmanship. None of the comments mention the hassle for transportation, everything has to be unplugged before transportation. The power source was highly overlooked on top of it, the case cord plugs in on the inside (ok, not ideal but manageable), and there is no place to power your system internally (meaning the system cable is hanging over the side, I don't see why they didn't put an internal power source for something so "portable"). The case itself when the system is out is about 35 lbs. (as advertised) then you add the system, the cables, the controller and the case is easily over 50lbs. and uncomfortable to lug around for long durations. The cable bag barely holds the case power cord, and controller charger. The straps were a good idea for storage but they can be improved, with the straps as tight as possible I was still able to wiggle the contents (not a super snug fit, but held in). There's the sheer size of the case as well, due to the storage plus the system, the overall case is about 2 feet long by _______feet. Then there's one person's needs compared to others, this case does not fit my needs (transport from one place to another every now and again), but if you are someone who travels a ton and you are in and out of hotels, trains, etc on a regular basis this case would work for you, but do you want to lug it around?
Now that the flaws are out of the way, I gave this case 3 stars due to the product itself. The case came in great condition, nothing was broken. It shipped fairly quickly with standard shipping. The screen had pretty great quality (even with crappy wifi). Same for the speakers, great surround sound quality. The latches for the case we're definitely secure, it will not open randomly on you. As I said before, the security straps are good but not great. The case comes with rubber "feet" to keep the system from sliding around, and a "cage" to protect the top of the system (cheap plastic).
I did not upload pictures because my only camera will do no justice for the case or it's flaws
READ EVERYTHING AND WEIGH YOUR NEEDS WITH WHAT I SAID BEFORE BUYING!!!!
