Most enemies to lovers romances I've read have the couple go from spitting hateful comments at each other to acting like two sappy lovebirds - not this story. This was so refreshing to see that Riley and Liam were still the same people by the end. As much as they seem like unlikely partners, they've always supported each other and the antagonism and competition is integral to their dynamic and it pushes them to become the best versions of themselves. Throw in some really hot sex scenes and this is one hell of a great story. And just when you think things are coming to a calm end, Michaela rips the floor out from under you and throws one last curve ball to have you cheering Riley and Liam on. "Here's to competition" indeed! Loved it, highly recommended.

Michaela Scott is a new author to me and I loved this story it was funny. Liam and Riley text each other everyday they have a like / hate kind of relationship, when Riley’s loan gets approved she moves back to LA. These two have always been competitive and now that Riley is back she can’t help falling for Liam. A funny story and I enjoyed it immensely and I recommend this book.
