When Savannah returns to her hometown for the wedding of a high school friend, she knows there's a possibility she'll run into him - Hayden, the sweetheart she left behind ten years ago. Hayden is indeed at the wedding, and he knows as soon as she enters the room that Savannah is there.
As soon as he sees her, Hayden knows his heart still belongs to the woman who left him behind to pursue her dream career. What he still doesn't know is why, and when she eventually admits it, Hayden is determined not to waste anymore time without Savannah. For her part, Savannah realises she did the wrong thing by Hayden and is determined to make it up to him - and more importantly, not to do it again.
This was a sweet novella that didn't drag out the rekindling of the romance, as some second chance stories tend to do. I found myself laughing and cheering along, and glad Hayden was willing to open his heart again to the woman who had always loved it. A wonderfully written story worth a read. That cover is hot!
An enjoyable novella that picks up 10 years after Savannah and Hayden broke up in their teens and see each other for the first time.
Closure is sought, untruths are revealed and decisions that were made as an immature and inexperienced youth are explained. All the while their chemistry blazes off the page as they battle outside interference.
The defining moment for me that, absolutely made the story, was an emotionally driven, passionate and intense scene that exploded off the page as Hayden laid his soul bare. It was a stand out piece of writing as every emotion was felt.
I always commend when authors can so quickly have you invested and make the story feel complete even though it is of novella length.
I thoroughly enjoyed this second chance romance. When Savannah returns home, after years away, for a friend's wedding; she comes face to face with Hayden - her one time love and the man she walked away from. While she has realised her dream of being a Broadway star, her heart has never recovered from leaving Hayden. Similarly, while Hayden has tried, he has never got over Savannah. This quick, but steamy read, tells the story of a young love broken and then healed years later, without feeling like it's been rushed. This is the prequel to the Roommate Duet and introduces us to Hunter, Hayden's brother.
I loved this novella it was so sweet I am such a sucker for second chances and these two were incredible.
I did get to read this through Kennedy Fox's newsletter chapter by chapter each week and let me tell you those cliffhangers at the end of each chapter was enough to make me go insane but I loved every minute of it and had to get the whole book as soon as it was released.
I loved Hayden and Savannah they were high school sweethearts that had broke up kind of over a misunderstanding and hadn't seen each other in 10 years but were reunited at a wedding. Definitely some drama goes on in this little novella but when they finally get there happily ever after it is magical. Loved it!
Forever Mine by Kennedy Fox is an amazing story. A second chance romance that has all the feels & what seems like the full story all whilst being a novella. A truly beautiful captivating story that I read in one sitting.
My goodness garish me, this good was beautiful. This book was about two high school lover who separated and find there way back to each other years later. Savannah has wanted to be a theatre actress ever since she met her friend Donny, and when she was given the opportunity after high school to follow her dreams she took it and ran with it and has become the best she could, but at the time it meant leaving her high school boyfriend Hayden behind. She tried doing a long distance relationship and it was working really well, but after one trip home over thanksgiving and a little bit of eavesdropping she thought that maybe this long distance relationship isn't right anymore. so she breaks things off with Hayden even though its the hardest things she's ever done. Hayden has always loved savannah, all through high school and beyond, and when she decides out of no where that she doesn't want to be with him any more its a complete shock for him. Now some years later they run it to each other at a friends wedding, after some ups and downs and one annoying person tries to ruin it all. they realises that they still love each other and time has not changed that. This book is short and sweet, and I absolutely loved it.
