Amazon.com.au:Customer reviews: SoundPEATS Wireless Earbuds, Bluetooth 5.0 Wireless Headphones Dual Dynamic Drivers TWS Bluetooth Earphones Built in Mic IPX6 Sweatproof Headphones True Wireless Earbuds with Portable Charging Case (Black)
To summarise, these sound terrific, are good for calls, seal well, are comfortable and have fast and hassle free pairing with good range. On the negative side they have a cheap looking “black metal” bling coating. But worse, when connected, bright blue LEDs blink every 6 seconds or so and there is no disable function. So if you’re relaxing in a dim room or in bed you’ll see the walls light up every few seconds and drive your partner insane. This is a really dumb “feature”. Does any non-cyborg need their ears flashing while listening to music? Still, the audio quality is why I haven’t sent them back. If you listen to tunes or podcasts in bed then maybe keep looking
Excellent sound quality and great comfort as always from SoundPeats. Included in the package are the earphones, charging case, cable, and 5 pairs of tips extra to change around, find the one best for you. The dual drivers definitely makes the difference from the other models, especially the bass. It is still good for other genres as well. The case and the earphones have good battery life. The build quality is good for what I paid for. In overall, I am really happy with what I paid for.
Just received my SoundPEATS Truengine True Wireless Q42 Today. I was a little speculate at first due to the price of the earbuds however from the first moment unboxing to first listen I’ve been blown.
The carry case is slick and beautiful. The earbuds themselves have a solid build with multiple LED indicators and comes with 6 earbuds. I used the ones it came with, which were a perfect fit.
The pairing was very straight forward, and both left and right paired with a touch of a button on my note8. The come with a multifunction button on each earpiece to control volume, calls, and voice assistants.
The sound quality you get for the price is just amazing comparable to beats headsets and are on par with airpods and low to mid volume, On high the audio is clear however bass is slightly lacking. Pros: Very affordable and comparable with flagship earbuds Very light and solid build, very easy on the ears LED indicators on both earbuds and carry case Beautiful design Solid sound on low-mid, crystal clear even on max volume The battery lasts a full date on heavy use. Can use 1 or 2 earbuds Auto Sync of both
Con: The bass on high isn’t comparable to flagship headphones
Overall: For $50 you will not find a set even if you were paying $200+. They have the look and feel of a premium set of earbuds. The sound is amazing. 10/10
Opening these earphones, they definitely feel very premium and punch above their price point. The case is very sturdy and solid, not cheap at all, and seems to be made of metal on the base and plastic on the top. Closes very satisfyingly with a magnet. and has a button to check the charge level. Charges with micro-USB.
As for the earphones themselves, overall I liked them. After changing around the ear tips from the preinstalled ones (there are 6 different pairs in the box altogether), I was happy with the fit as they gave a good seal and didn't fall out. They do stick out of your ear a bit, which I didn't mind too much, but they were comfortable and look a bit futuristic. They are controlled by a little multifunctional button which is good and clicky. What's nice about this is they won't go off randomly like the touch controls you see on some other earphones, but you do shove them a little into your ear when using the button, which is a good tradeoff for me. The connection to my phone was also pretty stable. For the sound, it's very solid. You might not be blown away, but these definitely get the job done. My music sounded pretty good to me, and I was happy with the way these sounded.
For the battery life, they lasted around 2.5-3h per charge, which is good enough. Note that this depends on your volume level that you listen to. You get more juice out of these if you listen a bit quieter. For me though, they are great for taking a train ride or walking around, and you can just pop them back in the case when you aren't using them, so they last the whole day for me.
To conclude, a good value for money from Soundpeats.
I felt like I was opening a new apple product when I received these little bad boys. The quality of the packaging was impressive, as was the feel of the charging dock and comprehensive user manual. The charging dock doubles as a power bank and can charge the earbuds over and over again without the need to plug it into the mains (great for a long period outside or on the job). There is a charge indicator light on the dock that shows you how much charge is left in the docks power bank and the earbuds slot into the dock with magnetic locks (a cool feature). Pairing the earbuds was intuitive and easy to do without reading the manual.
I tried pairing the L earbud to my phone, while I paired the right to my Smart TV and it worked well, until I pushed the button on the piece and it paired itself to the right and I got the Smart TV through both earbuds, which is ok because now I know how to do that. (I discovered that If you want both to sound with one source, you need to connect the Right earbud which is the master and you need to connect it to which ever device you want. I found turning the earbuds off and on again fixed some of the minor issues I initially had.)
The sound quality was good for the price point, but not as great as my fancy wired headphones (as you would expect). There were some minor latency issues when connected to the smart TV watching streaming video, but may have been my internet connection speed as they worked well when connected to my laptop watching youtube videos. Overall the earbuds met my expectations and are definitely value for money and most of all I love the charge bank feature of the charging dock!
The earbuds pair instantly when the charging case is opened and connects seamlessly. The charging case itself is very premium feeling with a stylish design, and the lid closes with a satisfying snap. The earbuds themselves fit tightly and block out most external noises. They sound incredible for the price with plenty of bass and crystal clear music. There is, of course, slight latency when watching videos, just like almost all other wireless earbuds, but this latency is unnoticeable when listening to music. The battery also lasts long enough for around a week of usage, depending on how often they are used. Overall, they are great value for the price.
These headphones do not feel like budget headphones, they feel well built in the hand and the auto pairing when removed from the case has worked flawlessly in the few days I've had them. Comfort is good and they have stayed in my ears well. They are not the most attractive in my opinion but that is subjective. They do stick out of the ear a little further than I'd like. Biggest gripe is with the phone in my pocket I have experienced a few drop outs, not enough to be a major concern but I'll see how they go.
This product has a premium feel straight out of a box similar to what you would expect from a more expensive brand. The pairing was easy, connect once and you're set. Every time you take it out of the box it connects again automatically.
The dual dynamic drives makes a huge difference in sound quality. You can feel the surround sound and the Bass is punchy as if there was a subwoofer in your ear.
The battery last as it states about 3.5 hours and it's a good addition that they added battery indicator on the box so you know exactly how much charge is left.
Overall, these headphones is definitely up there and can compete with the big players in the market. For the price, I can highly recommend this product to anyone that is wanting to get into the true wireless headphones without breaking the bank.
These buds are splash roof. Stylish and well made! I can tell the manufacturer put effort into the premium vibe they were aiming for and it is a total success!
For me, the in-eat style is comfy and snug. I think the blocky body did press against my right ear and caused some temporary discomfort. Speaking of blocky body, it does protrude from the ears a bit too much for my liking but it is acceptable.
The dual drivers is quite heavy on bass. Other ranges are decent. Overall I cannot complain as I cannot distinguish them from a pair of airpods easily. They are not as loud of airpods at max volume but I find max volume too much for me anyway. It is very loud on max and you gotta be bloody deaf to complain about the volume.
A bit disappointed that they only last 2 hours + 50 min for a full charge instead of the 3.5 hours. Single bud lasted nearly 5 hours for me so that is great for long drive/ride. Talk sounds fine. A good buy! Love it!
Excellent earbuds! for the price. Happy with quality, battery life, call quality and music playback, Have not had an issue with pairing at all, which is huge plus, and minimal delay on sound whilst playing games and videos.
