Amazon calculates a product’s star ratings using a machine learned model instead of a raw data average. The machine learned model takes into account factors including: the age of a review, helpfulness votes by customers and whether the reviews are from verified purchases.
I bought quite a few of these when we had pasta shortage at the beginning of COVID panic buying at the shops. They are ok, but they do have this vegetabl-y starch-y smell and taste during cooking and when you eat, which is different from regular duram wheat only dry pasta. But you get used to it if the sauce that you eat with it has strong flavour, and the kids liked the animal shapes so for us, it was better to have these than no pasta at all. It did the job when we needed it, but now that regular pasta is back on shelves, I don't think I will be ordering these particular ones again on Amazon.
