I'm speechless ... literally lost for words. M.N. Forgy's ENVY is not what I expected it to be. It was so much more dark and twisted than Lust, Pride and Wrath. The depiction of envy as a sin was absolutely perfect. Sebastian Westbrook was Envy personified, right down to the smallest and most intricate detail.
Sebastian may not have been my favourite character so far, however his situation and background did draw me to him. All this young man really wanted was someone to love him, especially a woman he could call his own. Material objects, to him, were a bonus, but lve is what he truly desired. he envied those around him who had the friendships, the girlfriends, the love he never had. To him, the Elite is the answer and so is Sabella, Wrath's twin sister.
Can he win over the sweet innocent beauty he desires? Or, will fate step in and ruin all of his dreams? He's as dark and as twisted as his story, however the twists are what kept me reading and constantly on the edge of my seat. His story is not one for the feint hearted. That ending ... OMG!!! I really need Greed's story ... like yesterday!!!
Another hit from this brilliant series of The Elite Seven and this is Sabastian Westbrook aka Envy by one of my favourite authors, I adore her books and she has certainly gone the mile with this little beauty.
Now Sabastian is a hard character to get to like; at least for me he was but I did feel sorry for this young man who was completely obsessed with everything going his way in his life and if it didn't things turned really dark. Sabastian has major problems he needs to deal with, he has everything he wants and yet nothing is enough, he is a really dark character and yet at times comes across a a little boy lost swimming in a big sea, with lots of sharks flapping about not knowing which way to swim before he is eaten alive or drowns. I actually felt sad for him, he's lonely and just wants someone to love him but goes about it all the wrong way.
Lots of angst, twist and turns and some moments when I said to myself " Did he REALLY just do that !!" Yep this book will keep you on the edge of your seat and of course we have the inevitable slight cliffhanger at the end I'm dying to know what will happen to Sabastian Westbrook and the rest of the Elite Seven boys in Greed by Amo Jones, can't wait !!!
Freakin hell I wasn’t expecting that. M N Forgy took me by the hand and put me on one hell of a ride that shook me up and gave me whiplash with the events of this story.
Sebastian’s popularity didn’t fair very well with the end of Wrath and with Envy being his sin we get to see just what makes him tick. His actions are one of a psycho with an envious streak so long it sticks out for a mile. Don’t get me wrong Sebastian has a sad story to tell and he puts his feeling out there, for us, on a platter. I was actually falling for him at one point. I liked his banter and wit especially his sneaky side. We see it in all its glory.
This story has turned the whole series on its head and I absolutely loved the ending. Well played M. N. Forgy you have created a whole load of new questions for me.
Sebastian really lived up to his title ENVY. Even though he already had so much, he still wanted what others had. He desperately wanted to find a woman who accepts him for him and loves him the way he needs.
Sebastian has been the hardest character for me in the Elite 7 to connect with. The author did an excellent job of portraying his darkness but there was not a great deal of romance in this book. Sebastian Aka Envy, had some tendencies that creeped me the hell out, his lack of guilt was difficult to swallow.
I really enjoyed reading the story through Sebastian’s eyes. This series is so unique, I am hooked line and sinker. I cannot wait now for the next book!
Well this book was one crazy ride! Nothing in this book went how I was expecting it, it is extremely messed up and I don’t know if I feel bad for Envy or if I hate him! I loved it, can’t wait to read what’s next.
