A great start to the new Midnight Cove series, Inflamed is a short story that will sweep you up and make you fall in love with these characters.
Ash is a Firefighting single Dad with his number one priority being his daughter, when Emma comes into his life, he is realising what he is missing out on. Having known each other in high school and sporting a very impressive crush on Ash all these years, Emma finally puts herself out there and starts to chase her dreams.
I personally loved this story, it might have been shorter than what we usually get from Briscoe but it was full of desire, love and scorching levels sexual chemistry; I devoured Inflamed in 1 sitting and I cannot wait to get my hands-on book 2 in the Midnight Cove Series.
This book was like a big bag of warm fuzzies. It was a completely drama and angst free single parent romance read and I loved it. I kept waiting for the drama to hit or for something to go wrong and it just didn't happen.
I read it in one sitting with a big smile on my face just loving every word. I mean seriously a sexy, single dad firefighter. Yeah that's basically all it took to have me diving right in.
Ash and Emma were great characters and I adored Sydney. The relationship was a bit of a slow burn but the chemistry between them was pretty hot and I liked that Sydney was such a genuine part of the story and not an add on to give some depth to the story line.
I am really looking forward to following this series and seeing who’s next in the Midnight Cove series.
I liked this book. It was a quick, sweet read. Ash is a lovable, single father, who is doing his best to raise his daughter, Sydney, who’s a gem. Emma is charming, a little sassy, and knows what she wants. Together, they’re a great couple. I would have liked to have seen a little more of them as a couple in the latter stages of the book. I think it moved really fast from first date to the Bridge incident. Still, it’s an enjoyable read, which I think contemporary romance fans will like, give it a go!
