Another fantastic Lucy Score small town romance!
8 March 2019
Rock Bottom Girl is a tale of second chances, self-discovery and delivers a timely message that no one’s life is perfect. Throw in a delicious hero and a fake relationship that starts to feel all to real and you have a very enjoyable romantic comedy filled with Lucy Score’s trademark humour and mad cap small town antics.
There is so much to enjoy in this story: dreamy hero, straight talking best friend, long standing nemisis and a rag tag teen girls soccer team that need to learn how to be a team and win.
I found one of the best parts of this was Marley’s experience as soccer coach and her journey with the team.
But we need to talk about Jake Weston. This book boyfriend has it all. He’s sexy, sweet, determined and is an all round good guy with a little high school bad boy still hidden beneath his delicious tattoos. I loved Jake, his dog and how he pushes and challenges Marley to better herself.
I really enjoyed Rock Bottom Girl. Lucy Score has a way of writing small towns you want to live in and this is no different. I highly recommend this story!
