A perfect conclusion to a brilliant duet. Roma King and Roma Queen will suck you in, keep you on the edge and leave you guessing right until the end. Roma Queen is as good if not better than Roma King, it has dark elements, plenty of twists and turns, mystery, suspense, intrigue, angst and drama that keept me wanting more.
Zara and Pasha are racing against time to save Sarah and bring Lazlo to justice, and claim the title of King; all whilst getting to know each other and falling in love. I love the firey confidence of Zara and the protective alpha bad boy that is Pasha. The strength, trust, confidence, loyalty, passion and love between Zara and Pasha is that of soul-mates, and will have you believing in fate.
What an epic conclusion. Roma Queen picks up straight after Roma King finishes and boy what a ride. To me the first half of the book solidified Zara and Pasha's relationship, as well as focusing on Roma business. The second half was non stop action packed as clues were found and followed, uncovering all the mystery and intrigue that started in the first book. I was engaged from the first page and loved the element of the unknown. I followed right along with the twists and turns of the investigation, coming up with my own theories and feeling pretty clever when I got them correct. Zara was an awesome lead female (possibly my favourite of Callie's) with her strength of character and determination, I loved how she stood up for herself and did what was needed when the time came - a genuine kick-ass female. I fell more in love with Pasha and we saw more sides to him other than his arrogant self including his romantic heart, bringing focus to the heart of the story - soulmates reconnecting and boy did they reconnect. I felt less of an otherworldly, mystical feel in this book compared to the Roma King but that just showed how well all the pieces fell together and the vileness that can exist in the world we live in. There was still a couple of things that were left with a spooky, superstition vibe, fitting well with the Roma culture. The icing on the cake for me was the inclusion of the greater universe and it made me hungry for more. What will Callie think of next? Where else can we go? I'm eagerly anticpating it all. Callie's characters never quite leave you and they always have you wanting and knowing more. Bravo.
The conclusion in the Røma Royals duet Pasha and Zara are back in full force. Zara really shone in this story. She was a force to be reckoned with and stood true to herself and did everything in her power to show her inner strength. She certainly didn’t mince words with anyone and lived up to her nickname Firefly. Yes I had a girl crush on her. I love a fierce female character.
As the story progress ( in the beginning) I found myself skipping over the sex scenes even though they were written extremely well and were hot but I just found myself slightly loosing interest in the story BUT I kept on going and boy did the story line take on a Darkness. The truth began to show itself and with a few spectacular twists that I didn’t see coming it held my attention and I could put the book down.
Thankyou Callie Hart for giving us a unique storyline about a very interesting culture.
4 1/2 Star Read. Part Two continues on from where Book One the Roma King left off. A gripping edge of the seat conclusion to the Roma Royals Duet. All the loose ends are tied up and we find who has been behind the gripping mystery behind the tragedy and drama going on since Pasha's childhood. Will Pasha and Zara discover who has Sarah and find her in time before it's too late. I received a copy (thank you) for an honest review for Naughty Nightie Book Blog. I can't tell you too much more since I don't want to spoil the mystery for you. Still lots of hot sex and love between Pasha and Zara amongst all the drama. You will need to read Book One so you know what is happening in Book Two.
We catch up with Zara and Pasha on this final installment. Read as dual point of view, both are equally strong characters.
Starts off a bit slow (maybe because I have no interest in gypsies) and the story doesn’t pick up until mid way. Everything ties in together like 6 degrees of separation. Like all her books, author has a talent of bringing each character to life.
On a side note, how come this book 2 came out before ‘new orlean nights’ book 2?
I dont usually leave reviews as i read over 200 books in a year and its not always sunshine! i believe if you have nothing good to say (literally nothing good) its not worth leaving a bad comment. BUT THIS BOOK! i think it deserves a great comment. Its a lovely conclusion to the duet series almost leaves me wanting more. I couldnt put it down. The world of ROMA is something fascinating. While im not sure it resembles closely to reality, nonetheless it was a brilliant story. LOVE every bit of it! Highly worth your time of reading!
Roma Queen is a perfectly executed ending to The Roma Royals series. It ties all its lose ends up and it gives you everything that makes you laugh cry and cringe all whilst feeling a little un shamefully dirty with it's intense characters sexual heat. Diving into the Roma world in this experience was thrilling exciting and left me wanting so much more! I also love how callie bleeds her workds together!
So on I went into book two which follows straight on from Roma King and we get to continue this complicated yet fascinating journey with Pasha and Zara and the Roma clan. Again very well constructed although I found the first part of this book to be quite a slow build up but once again the story line kicks in with so many more suprises that leave you stunned and asking yourself questions galore and wondering where the story is going. Very intriguing indeed and Callie keeps us guessing right until the end.
I have to say I preferred the first book and for me it lost a star because of all the fuss made about Sarah and then at the end it was just a slight let down where she was concerned, at least that is what I felt. I would have liked to have heard and found out slightly more about her and what became of her at the end. All in all a great duet, loved the characters and their passion, their chemistry and all the adventures that gave me a few grey hairs. Secondary characters were amazing too and definitely gave the story more depth. I absolutely adored the Roma clan and getting to know their history and ancestry, to me this was so enjoyable it made the book. Another hit from Callie who NEVER disappoints with her stories !!!
Another brilliant, 5 star tale by Callie Hart! These characters are authentic, and the storyline is detailed and unique.
I LOVE Pasha. His character is pure Alpha. The way he and Zara click together is beautifully written and evoked such strong emotion.
Ms Hart has such depth in her stories and Roma Queen has this in spades. The twists I didn't see coming kept me guessing. The cross overs to her other series, especially Dirty, Nasty, Freaks, were amazing for this fan. How she can timeline the details with so much happening is mind blowing!
This series is a must read for those who can handle a bit of dark and violence, enjoy a good mystery and love steamy romances.
The conclusion to the Roma Royals duet is here and it is epic. We catch up with Pasha and Zara right where we left them. With twists and revelations that kept me invested in the story.
You know what I love about this author's books, it's that I never know what to expect and I'm always surprised. The storyline has been unique and engaging from start to finish with facinating characters even the ones I didn't like.
Another brilliant story from one of my favourite authors.
