After reading the first story I bought the box set. However, by the end of the 2nd I felt that I was possibly going to be disappointed. I knew not long after that I was. Repetition I found to be the main disappointment. Timelines were a little fuzzy. The ending made that very clear even though it wrapped it up, which was good, it showed the timelines to be out even more. I wanted to give it 2 1/2 stars. I chose three as two was unfair. Thank you for writing this series.
Yup some of the stories were great, but some I couldn't wrap my head around. I also didn't realise these were short stories,. I'm going to read another of Leela's books and see if I was just in the wrong head space.
Even though there were grammatical errors throughout all the stories in this box set, I really enjoyed all the stories. The characters were engaging and well developed. I look forward to reading more by this author.
Loved the story lines in each story...at times a little slow but intriguing. ..best thing is the writers ability to not fall into the trap of thinking some readers want to read page after page sometimes a whole chapter on sex scenes. .a little raunch is ok but so authors have taken it too far ...in my opinion..well done Leela
I have read a lot of different authors in the genre, on my kindle. This is by far the worst for spelling, grammar, name changing, vague story lines and just general poor quality. A great disappointment, as I had high hopes of finding yet another author to love in the genre. Out of a complete set of stories only two were in any way engaging, which was unfortunate. These could have been brilliant tales, but are just too disjointed and poorly presented.
I enjoyed these stories but they became repetitive. Male wolf.meets woman they hit it off to begin with then they argue, separate, then one of them becomes the victim of their enemies and then they both realise they can't live without the other one so the other one becomes a hero, saves the day, and they all love. happily ever after.
