Seriously, you drop a bomb like that at the end and now I have to wait until February to find out the gossip???? omg!!!
But enough about the future let's talk about Lost in You and Robert and Ari, I have to say this was one book I really was undecided whether I wanted a HEA at the end 'shrug' and that's the very first time I've said that about a Lexi Blake book but Robert just pissed me off to many times to count and the final straw was well, you'll know when you get there but it was big... Iy you can't trust your assassin girlfriend to have your back then maybe she shouldn't be your girlfriend... I'm just saying trust is a big thing and Robert definitely didn't trust Ari even after he told her he loved her... But it all worked out sort of in the end I do wonder how much better it would have worked out if Robert had trusted Ari but that's something we'll never know. Talk about bombshell after bombshell I was always wondering about one of them betraying more than the other but OMG and then the bullets started flying and wow, yep this was one explosively emotional story with a bit of Taggert magic glittered throughout.
Wow, this lady can write a story that draws you in and keeps you guessing to the last word, leaves you wanting so much more after the last word. I was chucking a temper tantrum in my head when I read the last word. So much emotion, leaving you wanting more. Great story. Look forward to Tucker. Narration was super awesome as always when Ryan narrates these stories.
I loved reading this book. The story was beautifully written and interesting. Glad to read that they are still a family that are willing to look after each other. I recommend a very good read. Cannot wait for the next book.
The Details: - 18+ - Masters and Mercenaries: The Forgotten book 3 - Standalone series (but really, you should read them in order, you don't want to miss the adventures in the other books) - Contemporary Spy Romance - BDSM themes
I've often thought of Lexi Blakes Masters and Mercenaries (and the Forgotten) series books as modern day Bond books with more romance and bdsm themes. Although the books are romance books, they are packed full of action, espionage and thrill rides. I love all the books in this incredible series but I've been waiting a while for Robert's story, I've been intrigued with this teddy bear of a character and eager to learn more about his story since readers first met him in Submission is Not Enough (Masters and Mercenaries 12) This book was everything and more that I'd expected and got my heart racing and my breath catching in my throat with adrenaline and tears (because yes, I'm a very sappy person, but only when it comes to fictional people!). There were revelations and unexpected shocks and truths that will leave readers blinking in shock (or at least that's what happened to me). Yet another great book in the Masters and Mercenaries: The Forgotten series.
