5.0 out of 5 starsSonicare toothbrush recommended by most dentists
Reviewed in Australia on 22 November 2020
I have been using Sonicare toothbrush more than a decade. The toothbrush have recommended by many Dentists around the world. It have strong scientific evidence that it removes plague and Streptococcus harmful biofilm from the mouth. The Sonicare produce 31000 strokes per minute movement at 512 Hz that helps to kill bacteria where Oral B toothbrush series cannot archive . This patented technology worth every penny.

1.0 out of 5 starsAbsolute awful quality of toothbrush
Reviewed in Australia on 26 July 2021
My first one lasted 10 months, and then it decided not to charge anymore. Changing to my partner's charger doesn't work either. Then I went through the warranty process and goe sent a replacement. Only used the replacement for a couple months, and it failed again. This time the same fault, the toothbrush unit just refused to charge.

I have used electric toothbrush for more than 15 years, and nearly 10 years of that was on Philips Sonic Care products. I have had the Diamond Clean version a couple times, each times they would only last 3-4 years which is conveniently beyond warranty period. So I thought I'd try the cheaper version, that hopefully can still lasts at least a few years. But NOPE, two months is my current record. I will give the warranty another go, but tbh I don't have much faith in Sonic Care anymore.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cleans teeths very well!

Cleans teeth very well and thoroughly, a good value toothbrush!
I've had a Sonicare before, the last one lasted about 15 years! This one has a pressure sensor, which comes handy and also the timer that tells you 30 second intervals. It has only one brushing function, but that's all I need and ever used with the previous one.
The replacement brush heads are pricy, but for me it's totally worth it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Black, simple and looks good
Reviewed in Australia on 14 January 2019
Colour Name: Black GreyVerified Purchase
This is sadly one of the cheaper ones (even though it costs quite a bit) with only a single mode ("clean") with 2 different intensities. Comes with RFID feature though, easy-start, timers, pressure sensor, extremely good battery and the "smart" brush replacement notificator.

Overall it looks really good, is quiet. I'm happy with my purchase

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent clean at a great price!
Reviewed in Australia on 26 April 2021

After much research, I purchased this model and highly recommend it. The features of timed 2 minute clean, with interval sounds to tell you to move on to other parts of the mouth during your clean are handy. I also like the feature of it buzzing when you press too hard, great for not increasing wear on aged gums. My teeth feel really clean. My previous Philips model was still working after 10 years but was starting to buzz loudly and the heads were not fitting on it as well as some rubber perishing. It had 4 different cleaning features which I never used and would cost a lot more than the 4300 model to replace. Overall, I am totally happy with my purchase and recommend this model if you want an excellent model that cleans well, is simple to use and it also included a 36 month warranty.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sonic Features at a Lower Price
Reviewed in Australia on 14 July 2021
Colour Name: WhiteVerified Purchase
My partner has a much more expensive model, I went with this one and essentially it's exactly the same. I've had several other electric toothbrushes, and this is the first one to really impress me. Your teeth with feel noticeably cleaner in a fraction of the time. Don't faff about with cheaper products, they don't last or need too frequent recharging. The Phillips range is the best in the market.

2.0 out of 5 stars Battery died in 6 months
Reviewed in Australia on 19 November 2021
Colour Name: WhiteVerified Purchase
Great toothbrush, but the battery died in 6 months. I see a couple other reviews here that mention the same experience, shop it must be a manufacturing defect. I hope Phillips had someone checking these reviews. They ought to be able to do something about it. I love Sonicare, nothing else quite like it or as good. What a shame.

4.0 out of 5 stars Feels a little weird
Reviewed in Australia on 27 May 2022

You have to get use to the ultra sonic feeling, it's not like the regular, oscillating head, but I have just gone threw a root canal, and at the age of 50 my dentist had advised me that I need to take care of my wisdom teeth and to insure that I have no problems in the future to use a toothbrush like this.

1.0 out of 5 stars Broke in less than 5 months
Reviewed in Australia on 9 August 2022

This product was really shoddy. It broke in less than 5 months. Every other electric toothbrush I’ve owned has lasted years and only got replaced because I could no longer get the brush heads

1.0 out of 5 stars Faulty Battery
Reviewed in Australia on 15 April 2021

Owned the toothbrush for 10 months and then it stopped charging. Battery completely quit, the charging port stopped working. Not ideal to have to buy a whole new toothbrush every year.
