Like the Wind by J. Bengtsson was phenomenal. It hit all the right notes for me. Boy-band troubled pop star and quirky loving hairdresser. A California wild fire and daring rescue. Quirky pets, humor, danger, anticipation, attraction, and chemistry. Bodhi was the equivalent of a wide-eyed innocent babe on his own in the big wide world once he escaped the fire. With Breeze at his side to calm his fears and share in the simple things he never got to experience as a child she opens his eyes and his heart to more than he ever thought possible. Especially when he learns of his father's deceit, his mother's apparent resurrection and all the drama wrapped up in that nugget of betrayal. Well-written, well-paced, romantic, funny - I adored this book and how engaged I was while reading. Enjoy!
