Amazon.com.au:Customer reviews: CHAMVIS Heavy Duty Studio Recording Microphone Stand, Adjustable Suspension Boom Scissor Arm Stand for Radio Broadcasting Studio, Voice-Over Sound Studio, Stages, and TV Stations
The stand is at the price point for the product. 4 star for quality, -1 extra star for damaged product.
Range of movement up/down/out is fine; if you have a sturdy connection to desk, pivoting left/right is feasible, my own mic is too heavy to do this without risking the mount falling off.
I have blue yeti and blue yeti shock mount off the boom which weighs ~1.2kg. Pretty heavy weight for any boom, it limits the total range of positions which mic can be used at (mic can only be used below the boom height, best case sitting 90° to arm) without drooping out of position. Overall this means it might be too low for some setups.
The stand itself is decent quality. Plastic parts for screws are at low end; screw cap for the desk mount was cracked. Does not affect use but reflects quality of products. I bought this product expecting to have some issues with weight and positions, and I'm satisfied with what it can do as an entry level boom.
If you are pedantic about how the setup will work, keep researching or spend more money.
