I totally did this backward and read this last of the 4 books instead of first as it was intended. It realy cleared up how the witches originally crossed paths. It also introduces the large plantation style house and coven that plays a part in the future. Unlike me please read this first, believe me!, this is good and each book outdoes the next. This author is a fantastic story teller.
PROPHECY OF THREE. What a great book! It held my interest every second of this 6 hour read. Discriptive to the point that l was either living through her eyes or watching closely. So well written that it will stay in my library because l know l will read it again, infact it could be made into a movie. The important flashes to the past witches of 3 had me in suspense, can they do it in time? will it work? the door breaks down......Ahhh. see what l mean! Then there are the orphans and their trip to Ireland. The different personalities and tests. The visions of the past are fantastic and l can't say anymore! No spoilers from me but l could say so much more. SO SO RECOMMENDED!
SOULS OF THREE. Inovative and captivating series. I would buy in paperback and put on my book shelf with my Harry Potter collection. This writer has a talent of drawing you in, the individual characters so alive they could be real and you feel emotions of trepidation, envy, disbelief, annoyance, love, friendship, attraction, horror and achievment amongst others. But not just from the good guys, the enemies and traitors as well! Enjoyable 6 hour novel. I loved the first book so much and was a bit worried, concerned it was a fluke and the second book wouldn't be as good. IT IS GREAT!
SIREN FALLING. It was great to look into Selma's past after reading Prophecy of three and Souls of three. And great to see that Richard was the same beautiful sexy bartender and had stuck around. Wow though... she certainly causes havock and mayhem in the big city. This book is great to read on it's own but it is also a great addition to the other two I mentioned earlier and can be read either before or after those.
RISING OF THREE. What a beautiful book this is, a just and brave story intermingled with love , sisterhood and charitable righteousness. A beautiful story of first love, old love and strength of love that has withstood throughout the ages. Of families sacrifice beyond imagination to protect the earths children and bring races and species to live in harmony. Definitely a keeper for the bookshelf, this is a well earnt recommendation.💥💥💥💥💥
I loved the pace of this story and even though it was five books I couldn’t put it down and just kept reading and reading. The story line was different and the word pictures kept coming and coming tantalising my imagination. The number of heros and heroines were too numerous to mention individually and all I can suggest is that you read it yourself as I just know you will enjoy it
Wow!! What a fantastic series! Lily, Sara and Evelyn were such great lead characters and met great matches. They all proved their worth throughout the books. You felt for the girls with everything they went through in the books.
Book1 I truly love fantasy and magic, I also love a story that grabs me from beginning to the very end plus leaves me wanting more, Prophecy of Three did just that. I also love a story with characters that stay with you whether they are goodies or baddies if they are well written and developed these characters continue to live in my heart forever I have to say many of the characters in this book grabbed me and held me enthralled so much so I'm already into book 2 and hoping book 3 in this awesome trilogy is not far away. There really is something amazing about a book steeped in magic, mystery and a good dose of history that keeps me thinking about so many things, this story also had me busily researching historical and magical points as I read and that just made the story come even more alive for me.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would for a first in a series Ashley McLeo has hit this one out of the ballpark for me. What a wondrous, magical adventure.
Book2 Witches, Vampires, Weres, Elves, Sirens, Daemons and so much more all wrapped up in one awesome story.
Lily, Evelyn and Serah triplets, sisters, witches and maybe even something more. The sisters and their family take us on a magical adventure that is truly out of this world, beyond the moon, well past the stars and further before heading back to battle for earth.
I really love how Ashley melds so many supernatural, magical and even alien beings into a completely riveting story that had me enthralled from beginning to end, it also left me wanting so much more and wondering where the final story in this amazing trilogy will take me.
I love everything about Ashley McLeo's books they have a bit of everything that captures and holds my imagination, she is a truly talented storyteller.
Book3 I'm sitting here wondering just how to write this review so everyone knows just how awesome this final book in Ashley McLeo's trilogy was. After I finished I was just like wow that final fight scene was just breathtaking, sad and oh so magical all at once I likened it to the final fight scene in the last Harry Potter book it was just that good.
I laughed, I cried and I wished there was more which is always a great reaction to have to a book, I've also moved this trilogy to my must be re-read every year pile which again tells you just how much I simply adored Rising of Three.
Most of the time in a series I will always say the first book is my ultimate favourite but in this trilogy I am hands down saying book 3 Rising of Three is my ultimate favourite. This story is so jammed packed without being totally overwhelming, there are so many threads to tie together and Ashley McLeo does that just brilliantly, there is more than enough action, adventure and magic with a dose or 2 of blissful happiness tossed in with some sadness as well, so basically you get the full gamut of emotions while your reading.
