Samantha Holt is now a firm favourite author of mine, with this second instalment with A Rake Never Changes His Spots. Lord Seth Templeton along with his three grandchildren, that to rightfully inherit a share of their deceased Grandfather's wealthy estate they must each perform a task. Lord Seth has to marry within two months or the inheritance will go to the mysterious and odious Mr Hastings. Lord Seth is dirtied to find a way out and seeks help from a very clever and studious, Miss Prudence Hartley. I enjoyed reading the lovely growth of the relationship with these two characters. It was enviable that these two would end up in love and together. I highly recommend this story and author and look forward to the next story in this series. This is the second book in this series - it is a stand alone story (no cliffhangers). At the reading of his grandfathers will Seth and his siblings are told that they will inherit from their grandfather if they each successfully complete a task each within two months. Lord Seth Templeton's task is to be engaged by the end of the two months. He does not want to be rushed into a marriage and so is determined to find a way to get out of this predicament by trying to find some legal argument/option. While trying to find some legal precedence in a library he meets Prudence who offers to help. This is their story. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this.
