I have been eagerly awaiting this book, and was not disappointed! This book continues with the 2nd trial - a quest to find a magical relic. But as Rybet/Calla found out in the first book, the King isn't playing fair, and the trials are most definitely rigged. As the quest takes Calla and the other remaining contestants into the outer areas where townspeople have been disappearing, they soon find themselves inadvertently discovering some of what has been going on. Not only that, it appears the Gods have returned and have it in for Calla. Oh and now the 3 brothers want her to choose between them and have started fighting amongst themselves.
Warning for this one, it ends on a pretty big cliffhanger - just heed the author's warning and don't throw your kindle across the room....
Wonderfully written as always, great storyline and I'm now eagerly awaiting the 3rd book in the series. A series I will read over and over again, and one I would definitely recommend.
Damn Tate has done it again, Seeker is full of humour, angst, action (both in and out of the bedroom) and suspense. I absolutely loved this series it has everything I love; fantastic world building, great loveable characters with an intriguing and engaging storyline.
With Rybet finding out the true identity of the Princes’ being her tutors Zan, Lee and Ty it brings them closer together in more ways than one but it also brings with it a lot of sexual tension and also tension between the guys as none of them want to share. Zan is really possessive and I love that (he is definitely my fav of the guys). Lee is caring and sweet. Ty is flirty and fun.
That ending was OMG but definitely the best way to leave us hanging.
Great writing, clever plots and sub-plots. Loved the diversity of the characters and the chemistry Lady Callaluna has with her men. After the sudden ending of the first book, I wasn't surprised in the slightest that Tate would finish the second book on a dramatic high either. * Congratulations on baby no 2 Tate 😀. Can't wait for number 3...book that is!
Holy moly think Tate James has stepped up her cliff hanger game. This book is intense, we get to know the outcome of cliff hanger from the first book. The relationships with the guys in so unique for a reverse harem, so much jealousy and I love it. We deal with the second trial and mysterious things are happening. It was so so good. Cannot wait for the next one.
Cliff hanger alert! Throw your kindle across the room and be grumpy coz there's no more until the next book! Poor Callaluna/Ryebet has a massive task a head of her in book 2. Finding more about herself and the prince's has her fighting for her life more then once! Roll on book 3!!!!!
This book is equally as good as the first in the series. I love that it’s not a soppy fairy tale retelling, you can only read so many fluffy hea novels before your teeth fall out and all the sugar makes you sick!
I love and hate this. The story and characters are excellent but damn that cliff hanger has me in a foul mood because I need answers now! Basically this book is excellent, you should probably read it but just be prepared to hate life until book 3 is released
Thanks Tate James for being amazing and releasing this book so quickly, even though you are a busy mum of two beautiful kids. I loved this addition to the royal trials. It was just as epic as book 1 and I'm sure book 3 will be just as good. Looking forward to it.
The Royal Trials: Seeker is the second book in the series and a fantastic continuation. The book picked up straight where the first book left off and kept me intrigued the whole way. I was hooked on every page and can’t wait for the release of Heir!
