This book is amazing! Having not read any of the Supernatural Prison stories in a hot minute I did spend the first couple of chapters being like 'um who are these people?' as I had been thinking about another series that has some similarities in the lead up - supernaturals, supernatural hiding places, etc. and I got myself confused between series. However, once I got myself caught up on what series I was actually reading (serious blonde moment there lol) I quickly became immersed in the Supernatural Prison world. I must say, I'm not a huge fan of this type of love story - I won't say any more as I don't want to ruin it for anyone, but I will say that I got past my judgement and was able to enjoy the pairing, like I did with Mischa and Maximus, except less successfully there for me as I loved the pairing, just didn't love what happened in the build up of it.
It's nice to see Jessa and her family, especially the babies, and get an update from them (even though this book continues on from the last one, it's just been so long since I've read it feels like I haven't seen the family in years).
As for the conflict that arises... well it will be interesting to see what comes from it and how things proceed in the future
