I throughly enjoyed reading this, I stayed up all night just to finish and see how everything the MFC went through played out.
Surviving Amber Springs is a very emotional read and there are some really strong themes in this and would be triggering for some.
I really felt for Blaire and everything she went through, you feel all the lows and highs, the pain and heartache and the torment she endures.
The guys Axel, Skeet and Heath are all best friends, as close as brothers. I loved Axel the most (who doesn’t love a bad boy with a hard past, that is soft towards the MFC), I liked the affection Skeet had towards those he cares for and how he likes to just be near Blaire, Heath I had trouble connecting with the most.
Part 2 of the book I felt was a little rushed, everything happened really quickly but it did give me answers to all questions from part 1 and gave me closure on everything that had happened. I loved that everything tied up nicely and they all got their HEA.
The triggers involved in this read are school shootings, rape, bullying, suicide and mental health issues.
